ORIGINAL GARMENT

     As I looked for issues that have been occurring  in NewPort, I         interviewed my neighbors about their dissatisfactions in the town. Then I found out that as NewPort is so windy, it is hard for women to wear a skirt because it is ballooned out and streams in the wind. Therefore, I wanted to design a skirt that not only solves the problem, but also addresses the issue. The shape of the draping represents the strong wind of NewPort and it also makes the skirt to be fixed to legs so that it prevents the skirt from being ballooned out. For the final presentation, I would take a picture in the windy days.
