I created a mythological creature in Photoshop based off of the albino deer legend in Scandinavia. Hunters sought out an Albino deer as a “supernatural” good luck kind of belief. My creature is meant to depict the ultimate beast to take down so that a hunter would be known as a legend. The following animals were used: Pangolin, Okapi, Water Buffalo, Elephant, Antelope, Ram, Bongo, and DikDik. The version I presented in class is below, however, everyone had trouble seeing the reflection as water. So I added leaves and a line along the water to emphasis on the surface. I added the reflection because I wanted the drawn head to be more involved with the environment and seem more believable.
