Because I miss the tour with my classmates, I went on the circle line tour by myself.
During the whole tour, I saw another kind of New York.
All those tall buildings surprised me and made me wonder how busy this city must be.
Everyday I live in the city and never look at it in this way.
Also, I was thinking how much energy this whole system must cost everyday. This reminded me of a video that I have seen during class, it is about how much noises New York produces. I began to wonder, how much electric all those buildings must use each day (and I notice some of them don’t turn down the lights during the nights not even mention Time Square); how much water this city need each day and how much of them are wasted. In this fast city, the buildings look strong but the whole system behind is really vulnerable. How much energy can we waste and how much more can the city afford??
