I used plastic bags and tape to achieve this, applying an iron to the plastic to melt it together and a little bit of tape in areas that needed extra support. I sourced the plastic bags from CVS and my local grocery store back home in Kuwait that I happened to have with me here. My inspiration behind the design of the bag was actually Trader Joe’s grocery bags. They are made of folded paper with small handles, and function efficiently on grocery runs. I designed my upcycled bag to achieve the same level of functionality.
