Conceptual Still Life Drawing– A White Orchid Reflects upon its Youth and Mortality, while a Mayfly longs for the rotting Apples of Hesperides– both afraid of Death

Here is a conceptual still life drawing I was tasked to draw in my Drawing and Imaging: Language course. I was allowed to use any drawing utensils and forms of media I wished, so I used a 2H Graphite Drawing pencil to first draw my still life, and went on a bit of a multimedia pathway and scanned the still life into Photoshop, tweaking the contrast and brightness in the software. I then printed the scan out and added yellow colored pencil to the apples in the still life to highlight them.
