Days 1 and 2 have come and gone. As in the previous two days, below are my Daily Drawings for Day 3 that follow my 1st Rule and 2nd Rule set (1st rule– there must always be a spaceship, 2nd rule– minimalist expression/book cover of topic from Intro Seminar 300-word journal entry). This time, since my previous journal entry for Day 3 has to do with my praise and ruminations on Jon Anderson’s Olias of Sunhillow debut progressive rock album, my 2nd rule minimalist cover took the original beautifully illustrated covers made for the album when it was made in 1976 (complete with medieval lettering and everything) and simplified it while still retaining the Tolkien-ish fantastical splendor of the majestic original cover (emphasized by the symbol Anderson created specifically for the album– a circle with a square and a triangle within).
