Article: Think You’re Making Good Climate Choices? Take This Mini-Quiz
Reflection:
The part from the reading impressing me the most is how to calculate carbon footprints of products more correctly.
I used to think buying meat wasn’t that bad, since it hasn’t gone through factories, where create a huge amount of visible pollution, as much as processed food. But actually before becoming packed meat, livestocks growing up create carbon going into the atmosphere, too. Also, natural environment is destroyed for more farms and ranches.
When measuring how much carbon has been generated by a product, the natural resources from the very beginning of the production line need to be included.
