I really enjoy how the director and cinematic team played with the colors in this film. At first I thought the movie would be monochromic through the whole time, but when the characters enter the Zone, it shows the green and colors in the Zone. This change of tones strengthens, visually and emotionally, the motivation of the characters’, which is to escape from the boring and dreadful monochromic world to the more natural Zone.
