I started with putting up a moodboard of a timeline/world setting that both for now interests me and has a potential to have an object in good use. Ideas for the world setting came to my mind were snow-covered, frozen, deserted, and wanderer, so I combined them into the moodboard below.
After having a bigger image of the world, I started brainstorming about ideas randomly coming after this world setting by sketching them down. The brainstorming process overall settled down the direction of my object, its owner, and how the owner uses this object. Below is the brainstorming sketches.
There are the finalized views of the object. It is a pair of huge and fluffy boxing gloves that can be worn to fight, and potentially survive, in freezing and snowy weathers.
