For the Vampire Bat’s coffin, I was planning to do one with the construction and style similar to Medieval knights’ coffins. Below are some inspirational images showing some possibilities for how I could detailize and decorate the coffin. For the patterns on the coffin’s side surfaces, I was planning to design patterns myself, and either laser-cut or carve them onto the sides.
Those Medieval knights’ coffins usually have the portrayal sculptures of the knights put on top of the lids. Therefore, I sketched out some ideas for the lid portrait of my Vampire Bat character. The lid portrait would be perhaps laser-cut illustration or carved on woodboard.
Below is the body of the Vampire Bat hand-sewed by me. This in the photo is the second attempt, since I found the fabric I used on the first try was too soft and could not maintain a steady shape.
