Tools that were used to create a Draw String Bag: sewing machine, sewing set, muslin (34″ x28″), and iron.
On the long side of the fabric, fold the top of by 3/8″. And then sew 1.4″ from the fold.
Fold again at 3/4” then machine stitch at 1/8” from the first fold.
I folded the fabric in half then sewed the edges together, except where the string is going to be.
Then used a piece of paper clip to get the string through.
