Analysing and doing research on the AIDS memorial, has allowed to me to take on a memorial more than the visual components. Through this assignment, it has allowed me to become more aware of how memorials are selective to a certain time period. This assignment has compelled me to explore other memorials and sculptures apart from the AIDS memorial.
