Inspired by “The Selfish Giant” by Oscar Wilde, I wanted to create a giant character who plays with children in his garden/forest. With its open heart towards the kids and its large scale, the idea is to have the children play all over the body of the giant as if he is the playground space. His costume consist of a simple shirt and pants, and always carries around a red satchel full of rocks in case of invasion. The giant’s natural habitat is a forest so he is often tangled up in vines and leaves which children use to play.
