MOMA BEING: NEW PHOTOGRAPHY
LAYOUT IS IMPORTANT
I wonder how old some of these are?
How many were taken to get these?
Were they chosen after out of many or taken very deliberately?
Accident or highly planned?
Is this a family photo?
I liked most of this photo exhibit which I was really happy about. What really stood out to me was the different ways they presented their photography. The layout added to the concept and made what they were trying to say way more more clear. The one I most loved was a self portrait that was displayed with different materials and kinds of paper as well as taking his references to the photo. It was presented in a way I really relate to and was inspired by.
I also loved the way the north korean photos were displayed because they were showing the connection of some images but then the disconnection of others. The last wall I really loved too with this big family photo and then the small one with the orange frame. The photos were about space too.
For my visual representation I made these photoshop mock ups of different ways I could experiment with layout for either my website or printed out. I would prefer these hand done but these mock ups are good for now!
