The process of creating the bonnet began by creating a wireframe to give it structure and an object to work around. I wrapped wire around in a frame of the desired shape and filled in the area between the edges. After making the frame, I built my way around it, using muslin and tacking it down by hand sewing. This created a base to put the final fabrics over.
