In this project we were asked to make a video or graphic novel to show the tribe we chose. Since my tribe is creepy clown, I decided to make a video using a few props I bought – fake teeth, red nose, mask, and some birthday party supplies etc. There was no certain plot of this video, just to convey the vide and mood of my chosen tribe.

As for colour grading and lighting, instead of making it dark, just like most of the “creepy” videos, I made my video over-exposed to create this sick, surreal, and medical feelings. The whole video colour is white (really bright white), blood red, and black, since I’ve always thought these three colours combined together are very visually striking.

For music, I chose an original soundtrack from “Breaking Bad”. The music sounds very unpleasant, eerie, and unsettling. I put it here to reflect the twisted mental world of a creepy clown.
