I found this project to be pretty enjoyable. Creating a visual timeline through representational art really can spur some creativity. Since there are so many options including the length of time which can be a duration of millions of years to just a mere few seconds. I decided on just doing a simple rock show guitarist performing on stage. As for the art style I had it all planned visually in my head before starting and I would say I’m happy with what I got. My art style usually is very saturated with colour and just visual content. Sometimes to the point it mught be messy, but I wanted to try something different this time and keep the art simplistic. Some trouble I ran into was with anatomy and the folds in the clothes. I am not good with drawing people so it was very difficult fir me to illustrate 8 bodies. I used different references, from just a person jumping in the air to a football player sliding through the grass after a goal. The next problem I had was to show sequence, and I decided on showing movement by adding neon like stripes. The overall effect was great, and I added just a bit more depth by adding shadows and then dust on the last instance of time. Overall, it turned out great.
