The TV show is going to be a comedy, drama series following the young Russian spy Petrov which the TV show is named after. The story starts with Petrov being sent to the United States in the year 1987 who gets into an accident before being able to fully carry out his mission. He loses his memory due to the accident and gets taken in by a loving American family who finds him on the streets. The TV series is about Petrov rebuilding his life through adapting to American life styles and at the same time facing other Russian operatives who are out to get him because they think he betrayed the motherland. Themes of political and social struggles during the 1980s to simply personal relationships to family members will be explored. The TV show will last 5 seasons until 1991 when the Soviet Union collapses.
