The content is very routine, broadcasters can just sit on their own bedroom desk. If an audience likes an broadcaster, they can ask questions openly and give (lots of) gifts to get the anchor’s attention. Example: if you give the anchor a limo (an expensive gift, usually $30 or more), then immediately ask the host to sing your favorite song. China’s top anchors can earn tens of thousands of dollars a month, thus there are a lot of young people who quit their jobs to do live streaming full-time.

In China, there is such a group of people on WeChat and taobao, specializing in the reproduction and customization of high-end luxury goods. This customization includes clothes, bags, shoes, and jewelry, and is classified as “original order”, “A product”, and “super A product”. The so-called original order is a defective “real luxury”. “A Products” are made by imitating the real goods with the leather of luxury goods, while “A products” are made by a slightly poorer production.

With an estimated 200 million monthly players, “Arena of Valor” might just be the biggest game in the world. Really similar to League of Legends however in a mobile versions, and perhaps an enhanced one. Tencent added a lot of elements, heroes and more functions, which made the game win the favor of many different age groups. The platform is a big reason for the game’s success in China. Unlike LOL, which takes about 20 min-1h to complete, this mobile game only takes half of the time, so it is very convenient for people who want to play the game in daily life.

Users can update information in 140 characters and share it instantly through the web, wap, to achieve instant sharing. Its influence in China was to expand the public sphere, to allow a lot of things that were not talked about before to be talked about, and to expand the freedom of society.

China is expected to overtake the United States as the largest fashion market in 2019, according to a report by McKinsey & Company and media outlet The Business of Fashion. The wealth of China’s nearly 1.4 billion people saw rapid increase, creating new consumer groups who have capacity to spend on sports, entertainment, clothes and shoes, news website Quartz reported, adding it’s shaping the way the fashion industry operates.
