Space/ Materiality-Wearable Sculpture-Final Documentation

I love the way ancient people wear their armors piece by piece. To achieve the same effect,  I only use holes and threads as connection in the whole work. There are 6 pieces in the work, besides the arm piece which directly fit on the arm, others all have connection for each other to combine. This is like a modern armor for modern women. This is not only a protection for modern women, but also an expression of who they are or what they want. I made a lot of angular edges and the unique and strong silhouette is supposed to give modern women a sense of safety and power.
