Photography I_Artist/ Andy Goldsworthy
The photography illustrated the ephemerality of Goldsworthy’s work. I like the calm mood set for the photography. To apply to my own photo shoot, I would consider the objects in frame to be harmonious with the mood of my garments.
Photography II_Designer/ Iris van Herpen
In this photo, I like how the model’s body movement supports and expand the structure of the garments to create space and movement. I’m inspired to use body as a tool of strengthening my pieces in photo shoot. For instance, I could use legs to expand the embroidery texture.
Photographer III_Designer: Rei Kawakubo
In this photograph, I like how the red background was well employed to bring audience’s focus on silhouette of this garment. I also like how the model and garment is positioned by being filled in the photo. Through this photography, I’m inspired to make good use of the background color and to be creative in positioning the pieces in the camera frame.
