During the NYC waterway trip, I didn’t notice that much sewer system problem, but I did find one thing really destructive for me: the plastic bags and bottles floating on water.

I don’t know if people in the future are going to figure out a way to deal with all these non-degradable, massive trash in the ocean, and there’s already so much that I suspect half the landfill which New York’s land is made from is plastic. I think the only way is for people to stop producing more. As for the ones already produced, I think since we always find the vintage things fashionable (we now love the clothes and little stuffs that reminds us of the 70s or so), I guess if people in the future find the plastic bags with all the “thank you” printed in these fonts cool, and pick them up as precious and rare things, it would be a great way to keep them from damaging the ocean.
