Integrative Studio : Community Project

This project is that we choose one specific community, clarify site and critical issue to make garment for this community

• Community : My community is fictional in my mind, which uses ‘hair’ as their currency. It means that they use their hair like we use money. When there are times that they have to pay, they cut their hair to pay.
• Critical Issue : There are certain people who are called as ‘Hair Hunter’. As we have thieves, this community also has some kind of thieves. They grab most valuable hair(which is plain black hair), cut it and steal it. If you become a victim of Hair Hunter, it’s very dreadful because it takes long time to grow your hair back.
• Site : Hair Hunters’ main land is alleys and streets which are led to hair salon in New York. Or if they want to target somebody, they climb up to the fire stairs and look down like a villain hunting the innocence.
