As for the project 1, we were assigned to create multiple objects that were transformed from a planar material to a 3D structure. So I made ten paper manipulations by using 12″ x 12″ tracing paper.
Then I chose one of my paper iterations to replicate it in fabric three times, using light, medium, and heavy fabric. In fact, the constructions that used light and medium muslin could not stand on its own or have a similar shape as the paper model. In this case, I added lining on the heavy muslin and hand sewing in order to make the fabric stand on its own.
