I woke up. My body left the bed but my mind was still glued to the bed. I saw my feet on the black blanket but I did not know when they moved from the bed to the ground. But I did not try to wake myself. “ It is Saturday. You do not have to wake up yourself.” a voice appeared in my mind.

Then I moved. I did what I usually do in the morning. I opened a small bag of cereal in order to feed myself, and I opened a bag of fish feed to feed the fish. I feed two creatures together at the same time. But I was confused, how do the fish get so energetic after eating? I stared at it for a long time.

Notification from the mobile phone told me that I have to pick my express. So I walked to the courier station. The breeze blew on my face, the sun shone through the trees, and the light spots glistened on the ground. The beautiful scenery woke me up gradually. I felt very comfortable, my mood turned good even though I am still asleep.

Then, I got together with my classmates. We ate hot pot together. The lunch was so good that I did not know how to describe it. The time passed before I knew it. Then we went to play the Escape the Room together. I was too scared to move and solve puzzles. Time seemed to stand still.

After that game we were strolling the streets. Stop-and-go on the beautify night. The good times are always short for us. We said goodbye to each other. I went back to my dorm alone.

I’m alone in the dormitory. Walking alone, the aisles also seemed deserted. Drowsiness surrounded me again. And then brushed my teeth and I went back to bed.

Explain

In this project, I tried to use color changes, photo cropping, and different directions to express the sequence of events, changes in the environment, and my own mood.
The first part from the left shows my feet on the black carpet. I divided the picture into two parts. One part is the feet without color at all, and the other is the carpet with some color. Through these parts, I want to express the emotional depression when I first got up. The second part is a clip of me getting up to feed the fish. Fish is swimming and full of vitality, so I express the movement of fish through vertical cropping and repeated combination of pictures. The colorful fish also formed a state of contrast with the black and white colors of my hands. Shows my depressed mood. The third part is the scene of me getting up and taking the car to get the courier. In the combination of this group of pictures, the colors from left to right are gradually rich. The left side is completely black and white, and the right side gradually becomes color. Through this change, I want to show that my mood is gradually becoming more joyful because of seeing the surrounding scenery and trees. The overlap and repetition in the first photo shows how I walked, and by rotating the picture I created a right-going trend and formed a visual guide. The fourth part is the dishes during my meal. By cutting into small strips and putting them together, I merged two photos into one picture. The fifth part is about the decoration of the escape room where you play with your classmates. I repeated a picture three times and rotated the direction. Through this, I want to express the fear and confusion during the escape from the room. The sixth part is the pictures of shopping with classmates and night scenes. I built small strips of night scenes and walking photos and spaced them apart. It expresses the continuity of time and our stop-and-go state. The last part expresses my movement back to the dorm. By rotating I created a rightward walking trend. The black and white colors also express a mental state of sleepiness and fatigue. The last part of the black carpet echoes the beginning.
