This was the first project that I did for my drawing and imaging class in the Fall 2013 Semester. This was more like a creative exercise where we were supposed to apply a theory regarding the Gestalt and Design Principles the teacher introduced to us during class. I actually enjoyed doing this as it was a way to really make me understand on what was being taught to us.
The idea was to take the black paper, which used to be a square, and cut it up and arrange it in a manner that would portray an explosion. The main reason we were asked to do that was because this was the first direct assignment where we were told to showcase our understanding regarding the idea of what ‘Closure’ is.
