The one thing that I thought was really helpful from my drawing and imaging class was the fact that whenever we learned a new theory or concept we were always given a task where we could directly apply said theories. As previously mentioned, prior to this I had just learned about color transparency, therefore I had to create three different compositions that would contain opaque and transparent shapes and I had to create the right blend of colors whenever two different objects touched. Despite the seemingly simple idea, it was in fact a lot more challenging than it seemed, especially since I rarely use color in my work. With that said I think this is definitely a useful thing to understand because color will be very important in whatever I choose to do later on.
