This was basically the introduction for the whole semester, as beauty would later on be the main idea that the class was based on. The whole semester was in fact an exploration of beauty. The idea here is that we were supposed to create a collection of ten things we thought represented beauty. What I did was really dig deep into what I personally thought represented beauty. One of the more interesting thing though during this section of the semester was when one of my classmate came up with something that wasn’t as personal as most of the things the other students did. She came up with a book filled with ten pages regarding how beauty can be classified by different things. Some of the examples were color, race and etc. What this reminded me of was that while sometimes it is very important to try and relate to the cause sometimes one must see the bigger picture and concept of what is in front of them.
