The process for this project was similar to the last one only this time the starting point was a culture completely opposite ours. For this I decided to go with Poland and the traditional folk dance done in Krakow. I think the end result in this one was definitely better because I think I understood a lot more what the essential factors that needed to be in the picture were. I do think that this one was far more refined. I’m also quite happy with this as this was my first time actually using copic to color one of my drawings as I tend to stick to black and white. What I learned from this was that while using copic markers weren’t easy they were definitely necessary as I think they’re the kind of media that will be used a lot as its quick drying and tidy.What I really enjoyed about making this project though was making the clothes as I had a fun time coloring it, even though I was slightly nervous as I didn’t know how it would all turn out.
