The Art of Deconstruction

There aren’t many projects that I’m actually proud of from this class as I don’t think I’ve really gotten the hang of the program (Adobe Premiere Pro). With that said I am probably most satisfied with this last project of mine regarding the idea of deconstruction and what it has to do with Viktor and Rolf’s Spring 2012 Fashion show. The main premise of this final project was that we were allowed to create anything we wanted to as long as we were passionate about the topic we were making. Therefore for this, I decided to focus on a certain designer’s collection and try to interpret what I think the designers are trying to say through their clothes. The reason why I was so interested in doing so was because I’ve always loved the idea of dissecting something in order to get to the essence of it. I think while this video might be confusing to some, I personally am happy that I was at least able to lay it out the way I had initially planned. With that said I know there are much more professional looking videos out there and there’s a lot that can be done in order to make this more aesthetically pleasing.
