For my Drawing: Imagination and Ideation class, we had a project where we chose a certain phobia, and illustrated it. My phobia of choice was something that I can personally relate to, which is arachnophobia. Based on this topic, I wanted to create a piece that would make the viewer’s skin crawl right off, which is how I tend to feel about spiders anyways. By doing this, I chose to have a full portrait as the center piece, and having baby spiders be all over him as far as the eye can see. Sometimes, it’s the little things that get you.
