This was my final illustration for my drawing class. We had a choice between either illustrating Indiana Jones / background or placement of your choice, or an asian princess subject. For mine, I wanted to get that look of doom on his face – since that’s what Indy was all about. The color pallet I picked was chosen to show the different reflections that would be found in the temple / in the desert – some nice warm tans, reds, magentas and oranges. All done in prismacolor, and a small amount of white gesso to get the white beats of sweat / eye reflections back into the drawing.
