Annie Jim, 19 years old, from Boston, MA. I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Parsons the New School for Design. I am interested in studying illustration and media. My medium is almost exclusively working with Micron pens in different felt tips. I like exploring things disconnected from our immediate physical reality and the intangible – visions of astronomy, people from our past, ancient motifs, superstitious symbolism such as spirits, hallucinations, ephemera, imaginary landscapes and the immateriality of emotions, elements of horror (specifically body horror), entomology and anatomy.
