In cities, it has become increasingly popular to fill crowded outdoor spaces with solar chargers. In New York City, they are often located in parks. Unfortunately, they are poorly placed and their charging rate is quite slow.

Welcome to Shrubbery Charger. Shrubbery Charger was designed  to not only point out the problems that plague current chargers, but to emphasize them. Once a phone is plugged into the device it begins to charge. However, due to the custom internal hardware, it slowly discharges the phone while unsuspecting users waste their time standing under a fake shrub that appears to be feeding them power.
