reflexion:
This post is the continuation of my previous one named the prelinger archives. For this project we had to create the following:
- The experience of slowness of time.
that feels like it will never end - The experience of speed #1
time going quickly, can’t keep up! (In this edit use only sound from the found footage) - The experience of speed #2
time going quickly, can’t keep up! (In this edit use only your own recorded sound and sound from the in class recording session.) - Point of view #1
One event perceived by two different people, or perceived two different ways. - Point of View #2 (Split Screen)
One event perceived by two different people, or perceived two different ways.
Create a Split Screen in Premiere - Demonstrate
The kuleshov effect
using premiere with the found footage from the prelinger archive we had to create each of this experiences and then merge them to create one big video. The process I used to create this video was: I first found videos in the archive that I found interesting or different, and then used it to create what we had to. I feel this made me have a more organized process. This project helped me understand how you can create an idea in the viewers mind just by using sound image and frame. I also learned how to use premiere and had a better understanding of video and sound editing.
