For this project we had to first do an exact copy of one of the cut outs at the MoMA by using the notes we took in one of our visits. The picture here shows the second iteration in which we had to add to the first copy to create our own work, here I added birds in a different shade of blue my goal was to create something different while maintaining the simplicity and flatness that Matisse originally had created.
