Ana Sofia Batlle was born on September 7, 1996 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, graduated from Carol Morgan School in 2014, and is currently attending Parsons the New School for Design in New York City. To the date she has participated in many activities, the most important being her internships, one at the well-known advertising agency Cumbre Satchi- Satchi and the other being at local Newspaper Diario Libre. She has also volunteered in TedX in Dominican Republic. Along with all of these activities she has been involved in operation smile, model united nations, and Techo por mi pais. She has taken time to enhance her art practices and taken various courses in graphic design, painting and drawing, and comic book drawing at Casa Chavon Dominican art school partnered with Parsons and Photography courses at The American School In Switzerland better known as TASIS. While yet undivided on what to major in she is definitely sure that she wants to become part of the art world and create work that emphasizes on important world issues.
