Hidden Garden

When I think about childhood, it immediately linked myself to how unrealistic and imaginative person I was. I would go on little adventures with my binoculars surrounded around my neck, say hi to tiny little creatures and pick up flowers on my way back home. I used to watch twinkle bell and imagined- if only one day, I could live in a fairy tale. As the flowers blossomed and the fairies came out gracefully, then flew from one petal to another. Now I’ve realized such fairy tales do not exist. But, I can always create a space- an imaginary one.

As per materials, I used pink papers, dried flowers, leaves and aluminum foil as I wanted to create a dreamy feeling. I sewed the flowers by using plastic threads and attached them on the top of box. Also, I placed a light in the box. Lastly, I cut the box in a way so that, it represents itself as a binocular.
