I loved writing this paper! I could truly see the fashions of the 80s (even through swimwear) that my mom always goes on about, and I loved looking through old photos of her to find my topic choice photo. I took interest in looking at the old Sports Illustrated Magazines and swimwear prices of the 80s. Looking into the history of swimwear dating back to the 1800s is something we only briefly touched upon in Lecture and I found it beneficial to do further self-study on the topic. Thank you Professor Golde for challenging me to look at swimwear history and functionality development in a new way!
