To start off the currency project this assignment required me to create a perspective drawing in pencil or pen of a building/ group of buildings/ fantasy architecture that has some significance to me. I don’t really have a particular building that hold importance to me so I chose fantasy architecture because it captured my imagination. Then on 18 ” x 24″ paper, I rendered the building in 2 point perspective. After, using the pen tool in illustrator I brought the photo to about 25% opacity then traced over the picture and rasterized the finished result so that image trace would work better. I selected the line art option in illustrator, then I brought the image back into photoshop and with the paint bucket I made some parts of the building black.
