خميل – the Arabic word for “beautiful” – is a culmination of polaroids counterbalancing and navigating individual insecurities based on the realms of societal prejudices and norms. Through this publication, it is evident that these insecurities are often only mental and others may not even notice it, even after you were to point it out. We are our own worst critics and often compare ourselves to the beauty standards which are seen as ideal. However in order to truly be happy in our own bodies, we must begin to embrace it, everyone is truly beautiful and the beauty of the human body is inherently pure.
