Edgar Soberon is a still life painter. He was born in Cienfuegos, Cuba, moved with his family to Madrid, Spain and then settled in New York City where he attended Parsons School of Design. He became an instructor of drawing and printmaking there in 1992. Since 2002 Soberon lives and works in the town of San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico.
