In this work I explore drawing as an act of visualizing the unseen, a practice I call “wakeful dreaming”. It is a process of working from deep inside and materializing my own sensations. I have chosen here to draw directly onto copper plates. The responsive character of the tools and substance is essential to the idea and allows the expressive quality of a gesture to reveal my experience.
