Accompany Lang Alumni Maria Mukuka and Daniel Benhamu at Fourth Street Theatre where they are hosting a double bill of solo performances for four nights only; October 27, 28, and 29th at 7:30pm and October 30th at 3pm. Daniel Benhamu’s In The Storm Of Pleasure is an autobiographical story of an uncomfortable and unlikely journey to emotional awakening through a lifetime of comedic and unfortunate sexual experiences. Maria Mukuka’s race FREE is a candid tale of life “in-between.” Providing us with glimpses into her fantastical childhood spent in Sub-Saharan Zambia and Mediterranean Greece, Maria explores her bi-racial, bi-cultural identity in the context of New York’s seemingly pluralistic culture.
