Lang faculty Zishan Ugurlu will be directing alumni Jersten Seraile premiere of Harlem Blooms in Spring at United Solo Festival onTuesday, September 27th at 7:30pm.

United Solo is the world’s largest solo theater festival, currently in its 7th season, located on Theater Row.
Set in 1950’s Harlem on the east side in Langston Hughes’ dining room. Here you shall find a world still becoming, letters and poetry, and of course Langston Hughes. What does being Blacklisted mean for an African American? A number of Blacklisted Artist spent at least a year in prison and paid fees amounting over $1000 (about $9,830 today).
