I wrote a narrative to portray the visual of what is happening in the atmosphere, and created characters to really visualize and experience this atmosphere as a room.

After look at the movement of the sups, and the different light changes in these photos i thought it would be very interesting to overlay 4 images with different lightings and different movement onto of each other to really show the movement, and really emphasize my narrative of how the cups are supposed to be dancing, and there is so much movement and fun. Here it is:

Process Images:
I had to keep carving out of the solid cardboard to be able to create an atmosphere for these cups, i wanted enough space for them to be able to dance. I also wanted it to be perfectly symmetrical so that the cups can keep switching places and moving around.

I really like this photo as it shows so many different colors, showing how lighting has such a big impact on the materials. When you look closely at the bottom corner you can see the beautiful gold patterns shimmer. However when you look at the hexagon shaped cavity in the center of the ground it is completely enveloped by red light.

I took these pictures in different textures backgrounds because i wanted to see what would suit the shape of the cuts the most to be able to design the perfect atmosphere for these cups.

Inspiration images:
These color schemes are what inspired me to make my interior the way it is. This is an image of 1 of the rooms in the white house, and as you can see they used red and gold everywhere to make it look more royal and i think this combination is beautiful, it created a wonderful atmosphere.

I created this video to show the transitions of how the cups move in the space. Showing a fun exciting atmosphere. I specifically made this the order of the cups moving as i wanted their change to be as slight as possible so it doesn’t look like they are jumping around. It is just a smooth transition between them, and it creates beautiful movements.

I learned that color schemes play a huge role in different spaces, and the colors gold and red go very we’ll together. However i believe that they symbolize royalty or wealth, i feel like those 2 colors combines create a very posh atmosphere, it is like the colors of the whit house, and i had purposely done that because the cups that i used to fill the space is part of that same environment and i had to make a space to suit the cups, they were from an upper class world, so i made my interior have the same feeling. I am quite happy with the way my images turned out as it portrayed everything i was hoping it would.
I found for this specific project that electric light worked a lot better than the sun light, because i got to control the amount of light and the area it was hitting. I felt like i was in more control of the project and i got to choose exactly how much light i needed to be able to create the warmth i was going for.
