-There are lots of design details, everything is digitally fabricated. It’s asymptote you see the articulation in the wall panels it was cnc cut. There are 2 primary materials. And everything received a painted treatment. The shelves are sheet metal and received a powder coating finish. The metal is stacked then there are plugs between. It is a 10 gage steel, that determines its thickness and weight of the metal. It makes it smooth and glossy. Very similar to the desk in the store. Cut mdf panels on the ceiling they were fit together then painted. The table is made of wood particles. Then painted finish. lacquered painted finish. It is done in the shop and they use a tool like a spray brush in a series of layers. It is more expensive kind of finish in a controlled environment at the shop before bringing it over. The higher the number of layers the glossier it looks. The lights are a rubberized panels, to change the light bulb you need to take it apart.

-It’s all mdf wood and you can tell because it damages easily. So you see the edges chipping. It doesn’t take moisture well. Mdf swells with water. It’s all lacquered finish sprayed in layers. There are grooves in the surface so you can see that it can be easily cut. The chairs are just painted finish not lacquered but it is still mdf. The whole store is lacquered mdf. You can glue it together to make shapes.

-The railings and stairs are laminated glass. They are engineered based on the stairs. Here they casted a pattern which was in the mould which had slip resisted. Also sand blasted and added griddyness for safety. Anodized aluminum on the ceilings. Then there is stone floor and the space between the tiles are not uniform but it’s very tight it’s gretless floor 1/16th inch apart. That means there is something underneath holding the plates in place. There are stainless steel bands with holes and sprinklers and light. They integrated everything into the steel so the services are organized into the bands. Keeps it neat and yet still provides everything the store needs. There is a ceramic frit on the skylight so it defuses the light as it comes through. I think the skylight is a beautiful touch to the design of the store as it lets in so much light, and the whole store is glass so the way t is reflected adds beautiful effects. I love that it is ceramic frit as well so that not too much light comes through.

-They change the store based on the event. It doubles as display. The space is very rich in terms of materiality. Expanded metal mesh to hold the hangers. The gage used is thicker than the standard mesh. Sheet steel with insisions then pulled. The whole screen is anodized aluminum and you can tell because of the color. It is a lot lighter and Matt it’s very light weight. The frame is made of L sections. There are tracks on the ceiling so that they can run on the ceiling run up and down it is a very theatrical space. There are so many ways to change the look of the space. How the store is programmed. The shelves are resint with a pink pigment. All the walls are core plast because it had a ribbed core 2 sheets of plastic with a ribbing between it. Some are more milky and some are transparent. You can get it 1/8th inch thick. It’s sold in panels and is fairly stable. The webbing keeps it ridget and its not expensive. For large architectural features. They are all backlit. Silicon seating on the wood it’s casted. And the wooden cubes are laminated.

-This store is all plywood and you can see how the material responds when it’s cut and when it’s lower grade kind it will begin to chip away when cut. This store has a medium to low grade plywood. They sanded down the surfaces and the edges of the wood. There is wood used as structural sense. The wood is used for the inside of a wall but they decided to use it as a design element. The wooden panels are about 3.5×1.5 inches. The lifting is exposed and you see the electrical wires. The mirrors used does a good job making you feel like there’s more space. The shop is actually a really small space, but the way it is designed really makes you feel like it is so much bigger and you feel like you are o the street as the windows are ceiling high across the walls and there are mirrors everywhere not he other side of the room. Other than that, the rest of the store is made of ply wood which adds a soothing touch to the store.
