This assignment prompted us to work with archives. I found this images on Ubu and decided to manipulate their story lines. I was inspired by Walid Raad’s work. I turned the people into characters and fabricated their life story.  Hopefully, what I’ve presented challenges the viewer to question what they’re presented. Is it factual or false? I wanted the viewers to ask themselves this question. I exaggerated the story and left the craftsmanship messy. I wanted it to have sketchbook feel, not for it to be curated like in a gallery or museum.
