Core Lab Photogrammetry

Experiments using Agisoft Metashape and Blender to achieve a 3d model/densecloud of room, and understand the Metashape application. Few weeks ago I had been tried experiment with the kinect to achieve something a bit similar so this was fun and a bit more compatible for my windows 10 software. Most of the time I was thinking about how I was tasked with doing set design at my internship which was basically they had a model just like this and I would try to make a low poly 3D mockup of the room for the CGI motion graphics company. The Metashape software wasn’t too hard to learn, I do plan to scan a few objects I’ve always thought about scanning. I took three rounds of photos and I kept putting up posters because my room is mainly white and still that wall by my bed still breaks off even though I’d put a poster on the wall. There was a Blender add-on for the point cloud which was great as well.
