The New School is developing its own tools for faculty in using the ELP, while leaning heavily on the past several decades of experience that other institutions can offer from using this tool.
Learning Portfolios have been used in higher education for several decades. For that reason, there is a large body of scholarship and research on the positive impact of this reflective tool during students’ university education. Below are just some of those resources:
